PennyCalcs offers free money calculators and plain-English guides for people in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Why we built this
Too many financial calculators online sit behind sign-up forms, or exist to sell you something. We wanted clear tools that answer one question well, show the maths behind the answer, and explain what the numbers mean for you.
How we keep things accurate
- Tax tools use published figures from the IRS (US) and HMRC / GOV.UK (UK), updated for each new tax year; your exact figures depend on your situation.
- Each calculator shows the formula it uses, so you can check our work.
- Guides are reviewed and updated when rules change. Each page shows when it was last updated.
Your privacy
Calculations run entirely in your browser. We never see or store the numbers you type into our calculators. See our Privacy Policy for details.
